what do u guy think how much faster compare unlocked 1400mhz and 1600+xp?
i just do the sandra test on both cpu.
thr old 1400 is at 3908. and 1485mhz at 4119, but the xp 1600+ is only at 3931.
after the test. i know the old 1400 nad 1600+ only have less than 1% diff.
but ocing 1485 is 10% faster than the 1600+.
i know is the market, most of the 1.33ghz and 1.4ghz are already unlocked in the factory.
because the L1 is level 1 cache, and L2 is level cache. i use the sandra to check, my 1400mhz cpu has L1 cache, whick mean my cpu is unlocked.
is any mistake, please correct it for me.
thank you:rolleyes:

well run ur 1.4 at 1.4 and the 1600xp at its speed and see then what the scores are.

ur cpu is unlocked if u can use higher multiplierslike 12 and stuff.

i can't go to 12, because 12x133 with be 1600mhz, my computer will crash down during boot up. but i can go up to 11X135, around 1500mhz.
i take a close look at my old 1.33ghz cpu, the L1 is connected.
and sandra show i have L1 and L2 cache

every cpu has l1 and l2 cache, lower the fsb to 100 and try 12.
