I wish I knew ONE person in the real world that shared my love of computers like I do. I know a couple that love computers, but someone with whom I could really share how far we can go.

Congradulations!

sucks too, as i am the only one of my friends that knows computer, well, except for one, but he lives a while away, and he's mainly into web design now, instead of hardware...

as I posted in the general forum topic....L33t PC sounds like a cool name for a computer company...what do you guys think?

Its ok but whats with the HDD, for today 20gb is way low. Also...

Why no raid if hes buying KG7 r?

Why not buy an integrated burner/dvd, a pooter without a burner sheesh????

Soundblaster and Via, mmmmmmmmm mucho problemos.

And lastly a pooter without scsi is never going to be the biz :)

"Pooter w/o a burner".....Some of us have less than zero needs for a burner.

SCSI used the be the king, but it's now lost much of it's edge. Still way overpriced for what is lately a small performance gain, and since you talk about this persons 20 gig drive being small, you want them to go SCSI now....without taking a second mortgage on your home, you can't afford SCSI drives much larger than 18 gigs.

is he going for retro cool? dial up connection? I guess that's why he went with a 20 gig without the burner.
