i was looking at hdd and saw the above and wanted to know what they mean.

do not quote me but i think 9.5ms = seek time in micro seconds ?
2MB i think is mega byte buffer size ?

9.5ms means the average time that it take to access the hd. 2mb reffers to the onboard memory that servers as a buffer for the hd.

or more specifically, to access any particular bit of data on the HD.
