of course, all ram is always backwards compatible

think of the number as a speed limit, it can go UP TO that speed stable, so of course it can go below it real stable....

just a question, would pc2400 ram run at CAS2 where a pc2100 won't?

depends what speed your running it at and the brand/quality of the ram
