I tried to update my A7V mobo last night to 1009. I got a memory beep code out of it right a way. Held the power button in for and restarted the system(complete shutdown) and it booted fine. On restart it did the same thing. I'm back to bios 1007 and no problems. Anyone else exsperienced this?

well i stopped at 1007, since everything works perfectly with this bios. i see no reason for me to go to 1009. only reason to go past 1007 is if u were to want to put a 1.4 ghz processor in it. the 1008 bios remaps the 5x multiplier to run at 14x. unless u need that i would stay with 1007 since it has been rock solid for me.

is that if you not having any problems with your current bios version and everything is running smoothly, don't flash it expecting huge results.

I wanted to see if the updated ata bios(build 45) was any better than the 35 version. I was happy with the bios. Just looking for better speed from the HD.

Yes I agree, don't fix it till its broke.
