I saw that too but I didn't buy it because I've recently dropped US 120 for a GeForce 2 GTS 64 DDR.

OKay, I posted a thread like this a few weeks ago and none of you cared. :D

No, there's still a chance, it didn't expire yet! It expires on the 14th. Here's the trick to get the Radeon 8500 for 8500.

1. Go to techbargains.com
2. Scroll around halfway down the page and look for Dell Small Business where it says 20% off your first accessory. Click on it.
3. Search for the Radeon 8500.
4. The coupon will load and you can get it for $200.

If you go the normal way, it'll only be 10% off!

I wonder how much improvement in image quality I will notice over my current Geforce 1?

Radeons are known for their image quality. I had an old TNT2 before. Got used to it. Then I got a SE ViVo and man, it's great. Way better than a GeForce3 of all kinds. The Radeon 8500 should have even better image quality than the Radeon because of its features. They are found on the Radeon, but improved. Think of equal or better 2D than Matrox and the 3D image quality that is twice of a GeForce2.
