lol,

One of my friends was trying to take a java applet from another website and asked me to help cuz hes a noobie, but I have tried and can not get this damn applet to work on another page.

i have download the class file, made sure all page references were correct... etc etc... it just doesnt work.

Someone with java experience tell me what im doing wrong?

I checked out the page, grabbed the .class file, and decompiled it. Looks like it is going to try to get certain image files from the server it comes from. Without those images, it won't run. I originally thought that it might check to domain name it came from, and if it didn't match with it's internal name, it wouldn't run, but it doesn't appear to do that.

Why is your friend trying to use that applet anyway? Can't he just link to it from his own page?

i dont know why he doesnt just link to it..

And what is it trying to link to back at the server?

I dont think the class file itself links back to anything.

there is reference to a text file in the applet html that has links to images it uses.
