My sentiments exactly ;)
¿?Theres the Recycle Bin hehehehe ¿?
In all seriousness, scrap the dslreports list and try this one and post the result. It is much faster, it doesn't appear to be wrong this morning (Thanks Philip) and it's easier to understand!

SpeedGuide.net TCP/IP Analyzer
MTU = 1492
MTU seems to be optimized for PPPoE... If you are not on a PPPoE connection, consider increasing your MTU to 1500 for optimal throughput.
MSS = 1452
Maximum useful data in each packet = 1452, which seems to be equal to MSS.
Default Receive Window (RWIN) = 255552
RWIN Scaling (RFC1323) = 2 bits
Unscaled Receive Window = 63888
RWIN is a multiple of MSS
Other values for RWIN that might work well with your current MTU/MSS:
255552 (MSS x 44 * scale factor of 4)
191664 (MSS x 44 * scale factor of 3)
127776 (MSS x 44 * scale factor of 2)
63888 (MSS x 44)

Your RcvWindow limits you to: 10222.08 kbps (1277.76 KBytes/s) @ 200ms
Your RcvWindow limits you to: 4088.832 kbps (511.104 KBytes/s) @ 500ms
MTU Discovery (RFC1191) = true
Time to live = 53 hops
Timestamps (RFC1323) = false
Selective Acknowledgements (RFC2018) = true
IP type of service field = 00000000
Ok guys here it is,what do I do with this
Thanx

Good morning!
First of all, edit your post because your IP address is being shown to the world right now. What type of connection are you using? Cable or DSL? :)
I am using DSL
Thanx

I assume that you know whether or not you have a PPPoE connection. If you do, then your good to go. I think the only thing from the DSLreports test that might have been giving you fits, is not being pingable and then it gives you those little "problems detected" deal now. Did you install the Speedguide PPPoE patch? If not, you may want to try it, but from what I can see, it probably won't change anything. The only other thing you might want to do is try pinging out your ISP for any changes to make. Just follow the directions here: http://www.speedguide.net/Cable_modems/cable_registry_advanced.shtml
:D
Thanx a lot Blebbs99, I will do as you say.
Thanx again for noticing the IP address.
Dane
No problem! If it makes you feel any better, I did the same darn thing yesterday! After a while all the numbers start to hypnotize me, so that's easy enough to do. Your connection looks good though. Were you able to do any speed testing during off peak times? Were you happy with the results of those tests?
:p
Cube, turn off firewall before taking tweak test at dslr, that is why you got ping msg :)
I have been averaging 990k with sympatico speed test. However the last couple of days links have been slow. When I use to do the MSN test at 1:00 AM ,i would get 700-900K, now I get 300K for a week.
I gotta go to work, read the stuff from there.
Thanx
Dane
Try this little free proggie: http://www.analogx.com/contents/download/network/nsl.htm
It's small, measures the speed right at your computer, not out on the web. MSN test, all tests for that matter, fluctuate to much and aren't very accurate either. Try to test something within your domain and then outside of it, as close to home as possible. Netstat Live will give you pretty darn accurate results though. At least I think so, in my opinion. ;) If your close to California, you might try the test on dslreports. Keep a record for a week or month and see if it's consistant in results!
No Seriously put them in the Recycle Bin...
Netstat live from analogx with real time Downloads are the only true way to test your speed...Especialy with DSL
Most of the speedtest sites are wack and will never give a good read..
:D

Now I know I'm tired! I meant to include this link and forgot. Thanks Lobo! :D
It's cool if you like online tests, I like Dannjr way better :)
