How can I find out what exactly the speed patches change?

I have a DirecPC satellite w/AOl plus connection and I mistakenly installed the sguidetweak98_ME patch. I then used DrTCP to change most of my TCP/IP settings. However, I think the sguide patch is keeping my download rates down and I'm wondering if there's a way I can find out what exactly the sguide patch changed before I download the returntodefault patch. Thanks!

You can open the sguide patch in Notepad, or any text editor and see exactly what changes it makes.
