Can I run folding and burn CD's at the same time?

This is an important question becuase my best comp (Athlon 950 w/ 256MB) runs a server backup every night. It writes from a network share to a CD-RW.

Will folding mess up the back up process? I know that CD writing takes up system resources so I am not sure what to do.

I just did it last night and it came out fine.
I alway's pick the slowest speed if I will be multitasking,less chance of a coaster ;)

You can burn and do all your usual tasks without folding@home interfering..

Most tasks run with "normal" or higher priority, while folding@home runs on "idle" priority, meaning that it only uses the CPU cycles that would be idle otherwise.
