I have Ameritech (SBC) DSL. They installed a SpeedStream 3060 PCI card which appears in my device list as a network adapter bound to NDISWAN. There is no external hardware and no network needed. However, I wanted to network this machine to my upstairs PC so I installed an Ethernet 10/100 mbs PCI card. When the card is enabled, the DSL can connect one time to Ameritech.net, it then dies after the first packet, and will not connect again unless I reboot. HELP! How can I get the DSL card and a network card to co-exist. There is no conflit. THey use different IRQs. I even tried assigning an IP address to the network card.

Thanks in advance for any help.

It sounds like you need to run a NAT. NAT works with one IP address allowing it to share your NIC throught the network. It acts much like a Proxy server.
