Here is what is going on, I have 2 PC's connected to a Hub with my Cable Modem. When i map a network drive on 1 PC then go to work. When i come home and try to click on the mapped drive my system just hangs and then when I ctrl-alt-del it says My Computer (Not Responding). Then i have to restart. I have tried to keep the drive mapped many times, this is even after many clean installs of Windows. Is there somethng I am missing? Maybe something in my Network properties?? Thanks for any input.

That's a good question, what is in your network properties?
Sometimes, when the PC you are trying to connect goes to sleep. If that's the case, you need to wakeup the other pc and it's harddrive.

TO SMITZ33,
CHECK YOUR NETWORK PROPERTIES FIRST FOR THE CORRECT PROTOCOLS AND IP ADDRESSESS CONFIGURATIONS, ESPECIALLY NETBEUI (IF IT SUPPORTS IT WHICH I BELIEVE IT SHOULD) THEN TCP/IP, ALSO SEE IF YOU HAVE FILE AND PRINTER SHARING CHECKED AND THEN AT THE MAPPED NETWORK DRIVE, RIGHT CLICK IT TO SEE THE PROPERTIES THEN SEE IF YOU HAVE CHECKED RECONNECT AT LOGON BUTTON. IF THIS DID NOT WORKED AFTE REVERIFYING ALL YOUR CONFIGURATIONS ARE CORRECT,THEN YOUR YOUR PROBLEM IS THE TYPICAL NETWORKING CONFIGURATIONS OF THE HUB AND NIC's WHICH IS BEING CAUSE BY ONLY ONE THING, YOU NEED THE UPDATED DRIVER THAT WILL SUPPORT IT IN A LAN.
