My personal computer is on a T1-Lan which I am asist admin of. I don;t have any problems with any connection speed except when I am accessing an FTP remotely with an FTP client. I log in and sit there for 5 mins before I even get to the base directory and dir changes are the same and xfer rates are .01k/s. Ive tried LeapFTP, CuteFTP, and WSFTP, all have same results and these results are roughly the same on 3 different FTP site (Web Hosting Sites) so theyve got decent - good hardware. As I mentioned before ALL speeds are normal except for FTPing with a client. any idea why? Also, clients loggin in to my FTP server get good results upwards around 200-300k/s as you could understand this is very frustrating when I do website work for clients. I have also tried differnt computers on the LAN with the same results. Any help?
