Online gaming problem?

My problem is when im playing Online games (CS, TFC and UT) my Lancity cable modem disconnect for 1-4sec ( the connection light goes off). This appen iregularly wild playing.Im on Rogers@home in the Ottawa area.I saw a post last moth about this problem but I can remember the answer.

Talk to Rogers, I sounds like I could be Noise on your line (look in you user manual Apendix 1 http://www.speedguide.net/ubb/smile.gif It could help. Talks about lots of factors that might cause this. I also remember some saying there Sound card caused enought sound to kick them off.
