problem in connecting with Internet On LAN.

hi,i m doing a in private company,where all of the PCs are connected over a LAN network.where we can share and use a internet also.but when ever i connect my personel LAPTOP with this network,I cant use internet,it show icon of local area network but internet browser did not search for the websites.whts the problem.plz help me.
