All you good people using Black Ice, try reading all the main articles that come up with the advice tab...
As far as some of them go, like subseven or some of the other trojan horse's, they have to already be on your system. Most of them you get through email. And not just any email. Most of them look suspicious anyway.
Do you run a virus checker? Do you use it for email attachments?...good..you should be.
Most new email programs let you view whats in it without opening it. If it looks suspicious , then scan it. Is it from someone you don't know? Scan it.
Do a scan of your hard drive on a regular basis. If you suspect you may have picked one up then do a scan again.
