I tried out Blackice Defender on my primary computer, and it worked fine. However, it blocked internet access on the secondary comp, which shares is a client to my cable modem, with the primary comp as the server?
After I uninstalled BiD, everything went back to the norm. IS there a way to prevent BiD from hampering internet connection sharing? I tried adding the NIC card's ip of my secondary comp to the trusted list, but it did not help. Any suggestions?

I had similar problem. I use ICS too. I found the easiest way is to put the IP address of the 2nd pc, in the TRUSTED IP list of the 1st or Host PC, running BlackICE. Just right click over the Icon in your systray, then goto Configure BlackICE, then to TRUSTED ADDRESSES Tab, from here you can add the IP address of the 2nd machine then it should work fine. Hope this helped.

Yeah, Jalapino...I tried that before, but did not help...thanks to TonyT, though, I found the answer in the knowledgebase ... you have to disable BiD's monitering of the second PC (and so on). You can do this by disabling the monitering of the Ethernet's LAN Adapters, while leaving the Internet Ethernet Adapters monitered.
