What should I do when I get scanned by an individual. Is it good to scan them back to let them know that you know? Will this instigate further scans? Or should somthing only be done when there is several scans by the same person?

Basicly, what should I do when I get scanned?

What I want to do scan every port they have just to let them know I know.

If they don't get in don't worry about it. Otherwise if you want to start a war, scan them. Be careful, you just might lose!
