Could you please explain to me what a firewall is exactly and why would i need it? I mean, in what instances would you get a firswall? What are some pro's and con's? Thankyou

Only problem is that there is that annoying pop up about wether allow a connect through for a certain proggie, sorta like Conseal

!!!WARNING!!! Don't install this in W2000.
I installed it with BlackIce running and now W2000 is going bananas. Can't uninstall,get to start menu,etc. I though W2000 was crash-proof but this sure did a number on me. http://www.speedguide.net/ubb/frown.gif
Make sure BlackIce is disabled or uninstalled before installing this is all I can suggest.

Man I'm sorry bout that link not working any more but it crashed bout the same time my W2000 locked up. They must have other problems with that firewall prog. and I hope no one else crashed like me. Still trying to resurect W2000. http://www.speedguide.net/ubb/frown.gif
