I CAN'T UPGRADE MY FIRMWARE FOR BEFSR41 ROUTER ....HELP!!!!!

I BEEN TRING TO UPGRADE MY FIRMWARE FOR THE LINKSYS BEFSR41 ROUTER BECUSE I BEEN HAVING CURUPTED DOWNLOADS... BUT WHN I TRY TO UPGRADE IT SAIS THAT I HAVE AN INCORECT PASSWORD WHEN I NOW IS THE CORECT ONE....I CALL THE LINKSYS TECH SOUPORT
BUT SCINCE THEY HAVE THE MOST ****T UP TECHSOUPORT EVER I HAVEN HEAR NOTHING!!!!

CAN ANY BODY HELP ME?

I don't know if that will work, try do a hard re-set (push the re-set button in for couple second), and use the defaulf password ADMIN.
FYI I just purchase the same router at buy.com 2 days ago and it come with firmware 1.23, but on there site, they only get 1.22 and 1.30 beta.
I had read the forum about people having corupted download, but never experence any problem, did try download from MS and thru ICQ with over 10MB files.
Also using ICQ and napster without any extra setting.
Dell Inspiron 7000, win98se, 3com NIC, linksys 4 port router, blackice, and on RR cable.
