Hi I have an all SCSI system U2W specifically and I have received a Seagate barracuda 9.1GB 40pin Fibre Channel HD. Now my question is is there anyway for me to connect this FC hard drive to my all SCSI system? Do I need a special fibre channel adapter or is there a special converter I can attach to the hard dribve 40pin interface to change it to a regular 68pin or 50pin SCSI interface? Thanks in advance for all your help http://www.speedguide.net/ubb/smile.gif

You need a special adapter for firewire. Check the place that you got your drive. They should have the adapter you need.

Unfortunately i accidentaly bought this HD from e-bay without really paying attention. I guess I just payed attention to 9.1GB and SCSI without looking at the type of connection. http://www.speedguide.net/ubb/frown.gif
