Forgive me I'm new to this site and I hope I've posted this in the right section..
But here is my question I am in building automation and I have a building we set up and the system we are using needs to send out alarm notification. The problem I have is that the controls we are useing does not support SSL. The cust ordered att.net which uses port 995 and 465 which are SSL Normally we would have a IP tech take care of this but we do not have that option at this building. Again forgive me but I usually do not have to do this side of it so I may not know all the lingo. But anyway I called att tech support and was told to use (smtpauth.sbcglobal.net) and port 110 for outgoing I don't care about the incoming port because all we are doing is sending alarms out but I tried port 110 with no luck. I search around and read that I could use port 25 and 587 I've tried these as well with no luck. Any input would be greatly appreciated.

That should still be on port 25 with the primary account credentials needed, non-SSL.
