HELP ME FOR THE LOVE OF GOD HELP ME

Ok, p2 300
64 meg of ram
voodoo3
and various other stuff

all put into a motherboard but it wont work
keep getting "no carrier received" errors.

Have no idea what to do, reseated ram and processor. Motherboard getting power (light on NIC card coming on). Please advise

Does your PC give you any beep codes? like short beeps after you turn the power on? If so find your motherboard manufacturer's manual or goto their website and see if they give a list of beep codes. They can be helpful in determining exactly what might be causeing the problem for example Ram, Video card, CPU, stufflike that.

I am not sure what you have already tried so I will just make a list of the the things you should do:
1. Only your HDD, video card and RAM - try if that works
2. Add 1 card, reboot each time
3. Ask your friends to let you try your RAM and HDD in their computer.
4. Can you get into BIOS? check the ver. #
