A 914 with a Suby motor in it. Anyone know anyone who has done it?

300 hp in a 2200 pound car that can handle sounds good to me. Even a stock 220 hp would haul (and the motor is lighter than a stock flat six)

What is your current semi-realistic dream car?

Since we are making Christmas wish list already,

Rolling chassis from Sucker Punch Sallys (http://www.suckerpunchsallys.com/)

120 inch Panhead from Accurate Engineering (http://www.accurate-engineering.com/custom_engines/outlaw.htm)

Right side drive transmission from Baker (http://www.bakerdrivetrain.com/rsd/index.htm)

Custom built 2 into 1 exhaust with carbon fiber muffler.

Gloss black, wrinkle black or aluminum, NO chrome, please.

They have some nice frames at SPS. Never heard of them before (I am not a bike guy), but will keep my ear out for them. Doubt too many folks are riding them around here, but maybe a couple will roll through at some point

To be honest, Iíd rather have something along the lines of a Softail frame, those rigid frames are absolute hell on your back after a long ride. Thatís why they have springs on the seats or run the rear tire low.

The Softails give you the rigid look and a little more cushion on the ride. Also, I really have no clue if a right side drive transmission would fit in that configuration.

Big picture of a Softail (http://www.powerfactorycycles.com/Bikes_for_SALE_023.jpg) The shocks are horizontal under the transmission.
