How about a bore size over five inches or an engine size over three liters from just two cylinders? That’s a larger bore size then a Chrysler “Elephant Engine (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chrysler_Hemi_engine#Hemi_design_reintroduced)”.

Just for comparison, I think a big Harley engine is 103 cubic inch, this one is 191 CI. From a dead stop I bet this thing launches when you grab a handful. Too bad the rear tire is so small.

I guess I didn’t even pay attention to performance numbers. I just went on past experience.. The largest motor I can remember riding is a 150 CI Merch motor. At the time I had my ZX-11, it had a redline of about 11 grand, and developed power around 5 grand. The Merch motors torque came on at ground zero and went straight up to a redline of about 6 grand. It felt like it was ripping your arms out of socket. Damn thing knocked me off the seat onto the rear fender of a Confederate Hellcat.

Those older Hellcats were nothing to sneeze at with a 150 CI Merch engine in them.

Cool lookin' bike....I can't get past the staggered lamps though, nor the eyebrow like tail lamps.

What I can’t believe is Confederate made it to the Nieman Marcus catalogue.

When I worked there his goal was at least 500 nice bikes a year, which never happened. Hurricane Katrina hits, he moves to Alabama and starts building limited edition bikes out of unobtainium. Go figure.

To be honest, I never thought the company was gonna make it when I quit.

On The Dyno
The boys had some issues in getting to the dyno, but once they did, they found some interesting results. Check the numbers on the dyno chart and you'll see that it made similar power to that of an all-out, 632-inch racing engine on nitrous, but did so at only 24 to 25 pounds of boost. They found the exhaust side of the turbo housing to be too large. Once replaced, Meaney says that they should get 35 pounds of boost and could make as much as 2,800 hp! That should be soon, too. They'd like to thank Turbonetics and Garrett for all the tech support on this project and express special thanks to Infineon Technologies, who you normally see funding high-end Indy car and road car projects (in terms of microcontrollers and such), for the funding to make this project possible.

Read the entirle article, and you will be drooling at the end. Seriously cash dropped in that motor.
