Kicker is its made with four motorcycle engines. The power is nothing to sneeze at either.

They had the engine out to a car show a few days ago where the Autoblog boys found it and said the current state of tune allows a redline of 11,500 rpm so the horsepower is now up to 640.

Listen to it, links on the right side of this link (http://www.callawaycars.com/V16/). The thing sounds like an old piston driven aircraft coming in nose first in a crash drive.

640hp but how much torque? I would expect a nice amount with that.

Higher cylinder counts often mean smaller displacement...so lower torque. This is just 4 liters. She's only 340 ft/lb@ 8,500 rpm

Having fun with links on that site

410ci V-twin? No kick starting that bad boy! Misfire would send your ankle up behind your ear!

I think it would probably send your ankle into geosynchronous orbit.

Those old Panheads had adjustable timing. The round cylinder on the lower front of the engine about even with the 103”in the picture. Get that timing a bit too far advanced and it would kick the snot out of you if you didn’t follow through with the kick.

I'd love to have one of those monkey bikes for Mardi Gras. I would dress up in one of those old organ grinder costumes and dress my son up in a little monkey suit. I bet that would garner loads of attention. :rotfl:

Did you play the video for that monkey bike? I couldn't believe the amount of sound coming from it. Not bad for those 4 finger sized headers.

I was impressed with the sound of it, no doubt.

It definitely has that four cylinder bike sound, and a amazing feat of engineering to boot.
