hi everyone i'm wondering why my new Asus v7100 Gefore 2 MX card is soo sloww i thought that it make every game run faster with my T-bird system....

Does anyone any tweak to make this card faster ?? i'd tried to overclock the card to 220/Core and 215/Mem but it doesn't help much... =(

Well here's my system spec

Those FPS a GREAT so whats wrong? Your eye can't see anything above 30FPS so if ur getting better then 30 you'r doing great. 40FPS is prob the best you eyes will be able to notice so you're doing great

There is nothing wrong w/your system's performance; It's right were it should be. Little greedy are we? http://www.speedguide.net/ubb/biggrin.gif If you want more FPS, get a 1.2GHz T'bird and a GF 2 Ultra.

well, I get 45-55 fps in ut on 1064x768 with high detail and high gore. I only have 2 voodoo2 12MB accels sli'd. they rock and I got both for under 80$ on sale like a year and a half ago! woohoo!

My advice, take it back, and get the 64M ddr. thats the only real upgrade your gonna notice. or wait for new v20. heheh, its supposed to do ~100fps @ 1064x768 high detail.

Those FPSs are great. However, try comparing your 3D Marks with those in the database at the website. Just compare and see if it's close to what others are getting with similar setups. Also, try downloading SANDRA -- it's a great program that can help you optimize/troubleshoot the computer.

Yes i have DX8 install way before i got the card .... and i have AGP 4X enable and sidebanding enable.... ONLY thing i have disable is Fast Write in the BIOS

I'm currently using Nvidia Reference Det 6.31 and it's pretty stable

Does anyone reconmend a better version that will make my games faster??? i've tried 6.34 also but it was no improvement

Thanx for replying guys

Remember the MX uses SDR not DDR ram

Do you have the latest drivers as found on the web?

Do you have DX8 installed?
