question this is my comp now

Intel P4 2.8C
Seagate 120GB 7200rpm 8mb Cache
ATI Radeon 9600 Pro 128mb Retail
1 GB Corsair Value Select PC3200 2x512mb
NEC DVD +/- RW 4x ND-1300A
Lite On LTC-48161H 48x24x48x16 Combo



if i get a vid card for this set up how much better would i be
AMD Athlon™ 64 X2 Dual-Core 3800+
1GB Dual Channel DDR2 SDRAM at 667MHz- 2DIMMs
160GB Serial ATA Hard Drive (7200RPM) w/DataBurst Cache
48X CD-RW/ DVD Combo Drive

on board vid would be replaced
NVIDIA GeForce 6150 LE Integrated Graphics GPU

You would see an improvement, mostly in multitaking and if you run any demanding apps it would do well, as for gaming that would depend on what card you get.

It is a step up, but you might wish to look into a core duo system.

i can get the 2 set up for 300 just wanted to make sure it was a upgrade lol
