I'm putting an ASUS Ti-4200 AGP video card into my old system which runs on a 100 Mhz BUS. Do I leave the AGP/PCI ratio at 2/3 or can this video card tolerate running at the full 100 Mhz BUS speed?

It can't run at 100.

It can't run at 100.

Yeah I didn't think so, I recall back in the day it was a good overclock to hit 80 Mhz or something.

My confusion is that on the newer computers the BIOS kind of automatically takes care of what speed the AGP slot runs at. On My P4 for example, I have no clue what Mhz the AGP slot is set for. Still 66 Mhz?

I didn't know it for a while but my system was crashing because my pci express was running at the default 100 while my cpu was going at 500. I had to increase the pci express to 120 to stabilize the system.

I remember those Ti days, ran my gainward ti4200 at 81mhz along with my 'unlocked' xp 1800+.
