Friend wants to sell this to me for $85.
I know nothing about quality of video cards. Is this is a good deal?
New ones seem to run aroun $300 from what I was seeing.

I dunno, but I found out I can't use it. The computer I got has an AGP slot instead of PCI-X

Yeah I was going to, but he said he wouldn't sell it if I was going to do that because he could do the same thing.

cause they're friends...
I've done the same thing numerous times, selling to a friend for cheap.
If I found out that they defrauded me like that, I'd be extremely pissed off.

Dude.. buy a PCI-Express motherboard. They're cheap nowadays. AGP is outdated already. I'm one to talk, I just recently got rid of my AGP setup.
But hey I have a brand new, unopened x1600pro 512MB ATI card... for sale if anyone is interested. :D

not what I mean.. buy it from your friend at the price they said.... then turn around and advertise it somewhere for 20$ or whatever more.. make your profit and then buy you another. Nothing wrong with that.
