View Full Version : How to partition under Win2000

Pls help me to partition W2K.
I tried to use FDISK but W2K dun have this command.
The prob is I have 10 GB of HDD and when install W2K I make into 7GB and 3Gb of partition but the 3GB I didn't format it so now I can't detect my 3GB drive .. http://www.speedguide.net/ubb/frown.gif

Actually from what I heard you cant fdisk. You must format it from within the Win2k installation. Anyway I dunno man, Im still new to this Win2k stuff.

What do you want to put in/use the 3gig partition for- and what file format is it currently in?

curently now my 7 GB is NTFS and I want to make that 3 GB into FAT32.

Open Disk Management.
Click Action, and then click Rescan Disks.
