Is bleach safe to use when cleaning tires? I can't seem to get the raised white lettering back to new factory white and the dust and dirt is a PIA to throughly remove. Suggestions?

There is a product made by Wwestly's called Bleech-White, made for white letter tires.
Not sure if the PX carries it over there. Other choices are a Bug & Tar remover, or the ole trusty SOS pad....

straight bleach may discolor the black part of your tires... If you use it, try to apply it to the letters only, with a Q-tip.

Considering the fact that both of you guys spelled the product's name wrong, I'll chime in with my own suggestion:

JCOS, did you try Bleche-Wite? I've heard from multiple sources that this could be the product you're looking for!

:p

I'm just want the embedded dirt & grime gone from the outter edge of the tread and side walls.
