Nice bit of kit if the supplied USB cable was longer than 6-7 inches....

NICE!!!!! (http://www.amazon.co.uk/Western-Digital-160GB-Passport-External/dp/B000JRSMM2/ref=pd_bbs_2/026-5670613-0706028?ie=UTF8&s=electronics&qid=1180894656&sr=8-2)

Basically I want to swap the head unit in my car out for one of these that are USB enabled so I can load tons of stuff onto this drive and play til my heart`s content.

Apparently these head units require the FAT file system which would explain why this one I took to try today didn`t work...it was NTFS and I got "USB error 1" from the head unit.

This was the only HU that actually spooled up the platters AND initialised the drive...it then gave me this message.

So, in short, how can I format this drive into the largest partition I can have in FAT??

Many thanx
