IE.50 And IE5.5

Hi,,

Is there anyway to go back using IE 5.0 ?? I installed 5.5 but i don't really like it to much,,

Can i get 5.0 Back without formating again ??

I believe so. I've never actually done it, but I've read about it.

1. Go into the Control Panel and the Add/Remove Software icon.

2. Select the entry for "IE 5.5 and tools".

3. It will bring up a box with three options. One option is to go back to the previous IE. It's supposed to work OK.

Is is no Internet Explore in my Add and remove programs.. Why is that ?? is there anyway around this ??

That's because you have win98SE. Cannot go back if you installed from windows update site!

http://windowsupdate.microsoft.com/ Windows update site can and will uninstall IE 5.5 if you updated it from there. Go to above site click "show installed updates" scroll down to IE5.5 aand click "uninstall"
