So its about time I upgrade my video card, but I'm not sure if I want to do it yet. So I'm looking for some opinions from you gamers out there! Currently I'm running a MSI GeForce FX5600 256mb (AGP 8X) card and was thinking of upgrading to a BFG GeForce 7800 GTX OC AGP (there is a guy selling used for about $150.00 CAD). I plan on working next summer and buying myself a new customer build desktop ( I'm definitely going to go PCI-Express and probably for a 8600 GT or 8800 GTS, probably something in the $200.00 CAD range). What do you all think, is it worth the money? If I get the card, it'll will most likely be used for Starcraft II when it comes out and quite possibly BF2142.

I'd go with it if your dead set on waiting until next summer for a motherboard but ...you can find brand new agp cards for around that price also that'll run fine until you can upgrade....there are definately some cheap PCie boards out there also that could get you going that way sooner than later....guess it all kinda depends
