I'm drawing a blank. How do I make shortcuts on the desktop open up "Maximize" in WinMe? Right now they open up about one quarter of the screen, than I have to tick the maximize button.

Right click on the short cut, then select "Properties". Then from the "Run" drop down menu, select "Maximized". Hope this helps http://www.speedguide.net/ubb/smile.gif.
