I generally consider myself a power user, so that fact I can't figure this one out really urks me! So, whoever can solve it for me will be considered by me to be a computer god.

I want to enable "Web Folders" so I can use that new feature of iDrive. Normally it's easy to do as you go to Add/Remove Software, select IE, then "add new component". Web folders should be there under the heading of "Web Authoring Components". My option for Web Folders isn't there.

Things I have done to find it:
1. Windows Update
2. Enabled active desktop
3. Disabled any tweaks from TweakIE and XTeq that might affect it.

So, now it's up to you, my fellow power users, to help me out.

THANKS!

If you still have the Installer I would just run that. Choose Install minimal or customize and then choose Web Folder.

I should have mentioned I tried that, too. I went for full install just to be sure. It didn't work. It's really got me pissed.

I thought web folders were like "my network places". Meaning they won't show up until you create one. I uploaded my webpage to the internet, and now I have a web folder for it. I believe that is what you are talking about?

That's correct. I did finally get it figured out. I didn't realize at first that this portion of WinME is set up more like Win2K.

Thanks!
