so I have a chance to get a powerbook G4 at an insanely good price ...

problem is, I've always been PC & Windows from day 1 - always wanted to learn the MAC though ...

what are the pluses and minuses of using a MAC?

thoughts from any current MAC users would be appreciated ....

As a computer you actually have to use, heck no.

As a peice of technology to play around with? Go ahead. They're cool, and you might appreciate some of the work Apple puts into designing their OS. While I've used Apple PCs extensively and still preffer Windows over them by far, they're still cool to play with.

Don't expect a pre-core 2 to be a speed deamon though.

Brother, if you always wanted to learn it, go for it ...
And if the price is insanely good, why not ?

Sadly, I dont know much or anything about MAC's but if I could get a hand on one hell yeah.

MAC = Type of chick facepaint.

Mac = Short for Macintosh, an Apple computer.

The G4 will be like running a Pentium III in terms of experience, so unless a person can get a Core Solo Macbook or newer, it'll just be a pain to seasoned PC users used to speed.
