I have a 7950GT whose fan wants to wind up every few seconds and it's drving me insane. I need a new cooler for it but I don't need anything earth shattering great in terms of performance but something silent or almost silent would be golden...i saw a few over at SVC but not really sure which one would be the best option, And I don't really want to go over $30 or so.

I was looking at that one, since i'm already using a Zalman 9500 for my CPU. How much clearance does it need underneath(looks like just 1 extra slot would be needed) Also, i was curious if one of the other types that have an exhaust fan would be better for the overall thermal dissipation in the case. I do have a P180 case so it clears the heat pretty good anyway.

it's thinner than stock fan/housing ...the picture makes it look bigger than it really is....

Really? I have that same HSF and it takes up an extra pci slot.

If you want an exhaust type you might wanna look at the Thermaltake CL-G0080 (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835106090)
