I am posting this is different sections to get more help. But here is the issue, the Road Runner business class modem that my client has is not allowing a certain port to roll through to the router, thus not maiing connection with the right computer. The router is a Linksys WRVS4400N, and does have internet connection. The setup is quite strange, and I believe the Time Warner reps did not turn off the private IP DHCP server of the modem. The modem is meant to distribute certain IPs to different routers or computers. Below are the specs I'm getting (11.11.11 are used in place of the real numbers of the IP address):

Linksys Router IP: 11.11.11.46
Cable Modem IP: 11.11.11.45
The router and modem have the same numbers except for the last set.

When viewing the Linksys Status, it says what it says above. However! The 11.11.11.45 IP is accessible from the internet, but the 11.11.11.46 is NOT. I need to find a way to get into the SMC modem and route the different ports to the IP address that the router is using from the modem. ANY HELP IS APPRECIATED!! THANKS!!!
