Is an 8 MB video card considered "ok" for watching videos (youtube, etc)?

8MB, good god man!
Should be, its just displaying the video on the screen.
Can it do 32bit color or is it limited to 24bit(Woa, brainfreeze!)?

I think 24 at the highest. Not 100% sure.

If its 24bit I would consider an upgrade, I mean, I know a videocard capable of 32bit display can be rather pricey($40-$50). But it might be worth breaking the bank on.
I forget how much memory you need for 32bit color.

My backup card is a PCI Voodoo 3 2000 16Mb. It works fine (outside of games) at 1600x1200 for browsing, youtube, etc.

Yes. 4 megs will allow 24 bit color depth up to 1280x1024....6 megs will do the same at 1600x1200.

8 MB goes to 24 bit and 1280x1024 res. That's what this card will do.

Any newer drivers out there for a Rage II C? Mine are from 2000.

It has links to NT and windows 98 drivers. No clue if they are any newer.
