Hello, I have a spare AMD athlon 3000+ socket 939 cpu and was thinking of building a computer, can i have recommendations on a good socket 939 motherboard.

( I have another computer that has amd opteron 2.0ghz @ 2.4 / epox 9npa nvidia nforce4, 1GB corsair value select, nVidia geforce 7300 )

P.S: Would just getting a new nforce4 be a good idea :)

The 3 PCIe x16 slots on the jetway are interesting.

Thanks for all the help, the cpu I have runs at 1.8ghz.. so im planning on doing a little overclocking. the ASUS board says on some of the customer reviews that it runs a little hot. So, which bored would be best for overclocking and which one would be the best deal for the money.
Thanks again

P.S Although the ASUS board has alot of features

The asus has the best mobo cooling setup. Should run the coolest. A lot depends on proper cooling of the case.

Oh, ok well, since i dont have a case yet is there any brand or recommendation on a case that would work well for a good price.

Im looking to taking the video card out of my opteron pc and putting it in this one when its finished, then upgrading to this video card - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814102022

Just dont get one of those ultra tiny cases, 120mm fan in the back and front are nice, good air flow, less noise.

Just a small tip I thought of.

A lot of pc users are selling off their older systems.

So if you go to a big hardware forum like hardocp, eoc or xtremesystems you could probably find a really high quality board used for really cheap.
