You have to butter them up, so to speak, and each character has a "free" partner when you get to the island.

It depends on what you send, who you send it to, and even what flipping color you pick for the wrapping paper.

If you want to at least start off with a partner that doesn't hate you, start a new vacation and stick with the one you're given. As long as you don't suck at volleyball or "sleep in", they won't ditch you.

for achievement hunters this isn't a game you want to get.. it's not easy to get the achievements in this game..

I played it for like 10 minutes and I got bored of it.. lol..
