Mouse freezing in Win2000

Hey all ---

I've tried a Cordless Logitech MouseMan and a regular MS Intellimouse...both seem to freeze in Windows 2000 after about a day without restarting. It's pretty strange. Will buying a USB mouse help this matter any? Thanks for any help...

I have been using 2000 for a couple of weeks now and using regular MS mouse. No freezing up here. I didn`t load the intellimouse software that came with the mouse, it worked without it. If you installed it might try uninstalling and see if that helps.

Just a guess though.
