For the most part, the single-player campaign hits a sweet spot. How 8 hours became "short" for a shooter is beyond me, as I'd much rather have eight QUALITY hours than 15 that are just mediocre.

As an example, many people were a bit tired with Halo before it ended (the Library anyone?), but other shooters like Max Payne never lose their momentum. I would prefer to be left wanting more than wishing it would just end already.

I played COD3 for the Xbox. didnt care for it that much, might Rent it first for the 360. hears its the exact same just better graphics

COD3 is awesome, hard to describe, you have to play but Gears Of War is better :thumb:
