JOCS and YOSC got me thinking about this from their Tire talk.

I chose BFGoodrich....based on quite a bit of off road Jeeping in the past with organized clubs...they have proven to be popular, very rugged, and very long lasting. Their Radial TA KOs. :thumb:

Also for their street tires...I did love their HR rated Radial TAs. Not sure what a current model is..haven't had a sports car in a while.

For a value brand...I do like Cooper.

I just started running Goodyear Asurance Triple Treds, a little pricey but they handle great for a sporty car:thumb:

Not what I would use on a sporty car at all, but I have them on my Altima, they're great in the snow and rain.

I voted Kumho. For my performance stuff I run them. They are not too expensive and are tacky and soft enough for good handling. Only downside to being so soft is they have shorter thread life. For touring tires either goodyear or BFG.

MT's for sure. I had them on my '88 Wrangler. Could put out with no problem with mud up to the floor boards.

For SUV always Michelin.
For minivan, some all seasons no name brand, very cheap.
For 69 mustang conv i dont even know, but i know they arent cheap.

actually it depends... offroad-Micky Thompsons, SUV or comfort auto's-Michelin, Street sports-Pirelli or Yokohama.

I dont see Listed Baja tires.
They are as good as Michelin, same price and lifetime warranty.

Michelin Pilot XGT H4, harsh ride over bumps but damn good in all weather. Falken ZIEX's are pretty good for the price but they have pretty soft sidewalls.

Trojan brand.

Extra thick and long lasting. Does very well in the corners and loves acceleration but really suck when it comes to stopping. However… I’ve never had a blow out.

I didnt know they are BF Goodrich, my neighbour got them i just saw Baja T/A.He said they are excellent :)

No Falken or Toyo options? Falken Azenis RT-615s, Toyo T1-R. Two best high performance tires.

Bought them 1 month ago, so far I dont see difference with the Michelin tires (I'm not the driver atm only passenger but wife said she didnt notice difference).Same price + better warranty compared to what we had before (Michelin).

toyo proxies tr1 are the best tires i have ever own, great traction wet or dry.

Depends on what you want in that tire. I don't think one company has all the market in..

Milage

Handling

Mud

Snow

All season

Off road

It all just depends..

I agree, just purchased 4 new discover atr for my truck, but always buy TOYO for cars.
Make sure you look at load, wear ratings etc. Tires save your life don't go cheap!
