Time Warner/Road Runner is good...

I've had them now in Western Ohio since 2000 and they have been top notch. Whenever I've had a hardware issue, they always got me a replacement within a day or so.

The speeds are always good and right now they advertise 5 down / 3xx up. Here is what I get from SpeakEasy:


Download Speed: 4823 kbps (602.9 KB/sec transfer rate)
Upload Speed: 359 kbps (44.9 KB/sec transfer rate)

I highly recommend them. The $45/month isn't too out of line either.

I would give them a 9 out of 10.

I hate them....but that's only cuz I came from an area that was serviced by Optonline! I wish that RR offered similar speeds for that price!!

Can't wait for FIOS!!!!

My RR (along with the whole state) was down on Friday afternoon for about 3-5 hours. It was back up quick enough and all is well again.

The RR status page said everything was down, but I could still get to about 1/3 of my favorites.
