K,
Just downloaded iMesh
I installed it, everything went fine
First time I run it, I choose my user name, e-mail blah, blah etc.
Then on the final screen, it says: R u behind Proxy:...I'm not too good with that kinda stuff...so I left the port and other thing blank....what exactly is a proxy?
Anyway, when I clicked continue, it just hung there, trying to connect, after 3 min, I was impatient and canceled.

Why won't it connect? I'm guessing it has to do with the proxy, and that I have 2 firewalls on (Zone Alarm and BID).

ood question, i am having the same problem, i said i have no proxy, and i am behind a firewall, and i can't download anything, and suggestions?

Does anyone know how to fix the problems with the failed downloads from Gnutella on iMesh (http://www.soft82.com/download/Windows/iMesh)? or Is iMesh getting blocked by the other Gnutella clients?

I tried the iMesh Forum and they are trying to say it is because of fake files, but I can download the same files on LimeWire with no problems.

iMesh and Limewire....absolutely stuffed with ad/spyware....using those and your computer will most likely have issues trying to do anything network related.

Not to mention 60% of the stuff people downlaod is mislabeled and has adware, 25% is illegal, and the other 15% is just crap.

People haven't listened since P2P went big, and they still won't. "Free" trumps common sense every time.

I get the new version of imesh (http://www.rosoftdownload.com/download/Windows/iMesh) and i think it works realy fine.

Other alternativ, you can use olso Ares Gold (http://www.rosoftdownload.com/download/Windows/Ares-Gold)
