This is the setup I'm looking at:

PC #1 w/ cable modem and D-Link wireless G router

PC #2 would connect to D-Link router w/ ethernet card and CAT5

PC #3 would connect to D-Link router wirelessly w/ D-Link wireless adapter

PC #3 also has Linksys BEFW11S4 wireless router (but no ethernet card) so...

PC #4 would then connect to Linksys router on PC #3 w/ its ethernet card and CAT5

It's PC #4 that I am really wondering about; will it be able to get an internet connection?
Perhaps there is another way to do this but PC 1 and 2 are on one side of the house and PC's 3 and 4 are on the other side and a million miles of cable winding thru the living room isn't feasible.

Thanks for any input, I appreciate it. :)

not sure what you're trying to do, I don't understand...

I think the best way to accomplish this would be

hook your cable modem up to your router
hook your up your first 2 pcs.
wouldn't need to do anything for PC3. since it would connect wirelessly.(sp?)

Now get a wireless ethernet bridge, like this
http://www.newegg.com/app/viewProductdesc.asp?description=33-124-157&depa=5

and get a NIC either wireless or wired for PC4
and you can connect PC5 directly to the Bridge.

ALTOUGH a better and cheaper way to do this would be to just get a USB/PCI Wireless NIC for PCs 4 and 5.

I don't understand what you are trying to do with PC4, as you would need a NIC (Wired or Wireless) to connect it to the other router.

you mentioned PC3 twice so I assume you made a mistake.
and the 2nd PC3 is PC4.

And I would try to see what I could do about running cables thru the attic or something maybe?
If you're gonna be doing any amount of file transfer, it's gonna suck big time.
