NEED A GENY !! FOR MY CABLE TWEAK!!!!

hi all! im a newbie here!!!! i live in montreal and the only cable company we have is Videotron ... now my question is ..is there a GENY who can help me get the best tweak for that cable internet?
*My modem brand is : SAMSUNG (SCM-110R)
*Realtek PCI ETHERNET RTL8029(AS)

im on Windows 98 second edition
*128MB RAM
*PIII 450Mhz
max Download speed was 528kb/sec but only at the beginning of the download ...and decrease to around 250kb/sec but only at my server URL..videotron
normally run around 200kb/sec ...
*So how u think? its that normal speed for cable connection?
*another think ...when i host online game i can only serve 6 W/O lag ..at 8 some lag...
the game im talking bout is ROGUE SPEAR at www.zone.com (http://www.zone.com)

ha! i tried all those patch up there but not much improve... i tried to tweak all the regedit ..nuttin working!!!

Contact Videotron and see if you are capped
(if they have a max Download speed). You may be reaching close to that speed now and if so there is little you can do about it.

I was running slow (150KB/s) and used the tweaks, patches from Speedguide and boosted my downloads to 350+KB/s. Now my provider (RoadRunner) is capped at 2mbps (250KB/s)
and I get on average 235KB/s downloads

is there anything that really make cable modem boost as hell?? i mean thats really work!!! i did all the tweak and all the regedit but still dont see the BIG Boost!!!
the only good tweak was the IRQxx=4096
i admit it boost my connection up to 20%
...I HOPE SOME 1 FIND OUT HOW TO TWEAK CABLE MODEM SO IT CAN GO AT 1MB/SEC OR NEAR THAT..CUZ RITE NOW 580KB/SEC WAS THE MAX SPEED FOR ME AND IT HAPEN ONLY AT FAST SERVER!!.. ANYWAYS! THX

580 KB/s isn't too shabby. Most people here would almost give away their first born for speeds like that.

and in start boost up at 580kb/sec but slow down at 250kb/sec around there ...

But whatever happened to learning how to spell and only making an occasional typing mistake?

Some times one can not tell when the other person is really a mentally challenged individual or just ignorant to the real world of grammer, spelling and other features of the english language that we are taught in school.

I believe you spelled "grammer" wrong. It is grammar.
Clean up your posts then worry about all the others!

I too have noted something really unusual. The state of Washington produces MANY I have met in life that just can't handle spelling errors.!
